Mullinax Breaks Ground to Move Mullinax Ford's New Smyrna Beach Ford Dealership to SR44

NEW SMYRNA BEACH — Mullinax Ford broke ground the other day on it's new location on S.R. 44 in New Smyrna Beach.
"We're enthusiastic about getting started, " said Larry Mullinax, co-owner of the store. "We will be able to service more vehicles and sell more cars. It's going to be a huge advancement over what we have now. "
The Mullinax Dealership plan is to relocate to the 10. 5-acre parcel just east of the S.R. 44 Home Depot in October, Mullinax said.
The new location will certainly have a bigger showroom plus a huge upgrade to the service facilities. With 8 additional Quick Lane service bays, routine auto maintenance will be done with no service appointment necessary. Brakes, batteries, tires and oil changes will be a primary focus for the Mullinax Ford Quick Lane. The main service shop will still handle the heavier repairs, such as air conditioning, transmission, and engine replacements, Mullinax stated.
Mullinax Ford is not the only dealership with a strategy to make the move to the S.R. 44 corridor. Increased traffic to that area is attractive to business owners. Others who have made the move include Walmart Super Center, Dunkin' Donuts along with ABC Fine Wine & Spirits.

A friend of Larry Mullinax's was kind enough to give us a bird's eye view of the new Ford Dealership. As you can see, the
walls are quickly going up. The new Ford service repair facility and dealership showroom are taking shape. It won't be long
before New Smyrna Beach has a brand new service shop with state of the art equipment. We will be ready to service all of
your regular maintenace and heavy repairs, such as diesel engines, transmission, and air conditioning.
Still no sign of the new Quick Lane building that will be built along the SR 44 road front. The Quick Lane at Mullinax will
take care of vehicle check ups, tires, alignments, brakes, batteries, and a regular, synthetic, or diesel oil change.
No appointment is necessary in the Quick Lane, it is first come first serve. They are also able to service Ford vehicles as
well as other competitive makes in your household, such as Chevy, GM, Toyota, Honda and many more.
